I have a Mac with 2011 Excel loaded on it. I have downloaded the 2011.xlam program and moved it to my application folder. When I select the Tool option for add-ins, I see solver, but not the XLAM file. I can load the XLAM folder into the add-in options with the select button, but I get the “Can’t Find Project or Library ” error message. If I push “OK,” then it asks for a password. If if I just push cancel, then the file seems to be in the Tools Addin options with a check beside it and there is a “Real Statistics” column at the end of the menu header line.
