Quicken 2015 for Mac has more features than Essentials, but still falls short of those found in Quicken for Windows. So of these programs which are available for both OSX and Win, I run only on Windows are Quicken and TurboTax. You didn't ask, but for what it's worth, I also run the following programs only on my Win side: MS Streets and Trips (Google Maps is a Mac-side equivalent, but I just prefer this tripmaker program). Tag & Rename (for mp3 files, a GREAT program, no Mac equivalent). AVG 2014 Free (Virus scan, not needed on Mac, there are many others, free and pay, to choose from).

KEDIT (a DOS & Win text editor which I've been using for over 40 years; there are great Mac editors - EMACS, BBEdit and Text Wrangler come to mind - but I have invested in writing hundreds of macros I simply cannot live without nor do I want to recreate).
