Bebop and Tempo is a challenging retro arcade platforming game with a focus on skill and competition. Inspired by the many great games on NES, Bebop and Tempo has the music, art, and difficulty to match.

Play through a variety of levels and environments by switching between Bebop and Tempo. Each character has their own unique play style. Bebop has the ability to dash and dodge. While in comparison, Tempo runs faster, jumps higher, and can stomp. Switch between each character on the go with a push of a button to beat each level as you see fit.

Sorry if I'm breaking any rules, guys. I'm currently planning to do an isometric 2D game with two of my friends and we're planning to use Unity for it.

We were wondering what sort of art style this used. Is it just simply pixel art? If it is so, what's the best program to create our assets with? We've looked into many but we couldn't reach a conclusion, and I thought you guys might be able to help. We're complete beginners on this and we're doing this as a summer project.

Any help or redirection to a subreddit where I can be helped is appreciated. Thanks • • • • •.

Yes, that is pixel art. You can tell by, ehrm, the pixels?;) If you are doing something for a summer project, are beginners, and don't even know what app to start with, you should really scale back your expectations about what you can accomplish in such a short time frame with the amount of experience you have. Unless you plan to live in your basements all summer long and somehow develop 14+ hours a day. Photoshop is my go to app. CS2 is totally free and is in the sidebar of this subreddit.
