Is There A Photo Album Feature In Powerpoint 2011 For Mac

I am running Powerpoint 2008 for Mac, version 12.2.7, on my MacBook Pro. The MacBook Pro is a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, running Mac OSX 10.5.8.

I have had an issue for several years with Powerpoint on the Mac. Other folks in my company - all on PCs - are able to do two things in PPT that I cannot. One is to dump a bunch of photographs into a PPT presentation automatically - one image per slide - using the Photo Album feature. I cannot find this or a similar feature on my PPT for Mac. Does this exist?

Also, my PPTs are loaded with photos, and the finished PPT files get really large. The folks with PCs are able to select a single JPG on a slide, go to Format Picture > Compress, and select 'apply to all images in this presentation'.

Then compress the photos to either 96dpi, 150dpi or 200dpi (I think those are the choices) with one push of the button. I also cannot find this or a similar function on my PPT for Mac. I could really use both of these features. Does anyone know if they exist, and where I can find them in PPT for Mac? Thanks a ton!
